Experience the Art of Miguel Milló at Stormwater Studios

Mexican artist Miguel Milló presents a stunning exhibition at Stormwater Studios, where he transforms the human body into living art using natural materials like clay, flowers, and fruit. Showcasing large-format prints on linen, the exhibition highlights the deep connection between humanity and nature. Running from Wednesday, March 19 to Sunday, March 23, visitors can immerse themselves in Milló’s striking compositions, which merge magic, beauty, and body diversity through photography.

A special Building Bridges Session on March 20, 2025, invites Latino artists and community members to discuss the role of arts and culture in advocacy. The opening reception, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., will feature a talk by Ivan Segura, Executive Director of Palmetto Luna Arts, at 5:30 p.m. Building Bridges fosters unity by connecting artists with non-profit organizations, encouraging collaboration, and strengthening the local arts community.

Milló’s work has captivated audiences worldwide, with exhibitions in Los Angeles, New York, Madrid, and across Mexico. This event is made possible through the support of Mexico’s Secretary of Foreign Affairs, the Mexican Consulate in Raleigh, the Public Works Arts Center, the SC Commission for Minority Affairs, and Palmetto Luna Arts. Free and open to the public, the exhibition takes place at Stormwater Studios, 413 Pendleton St, Columbia, SC 29201.
