This youth exhibition will feature the following artwork created by several groups of adolescent girls in the Juvenile Arbitration Program of Lexington County.

Girls’ artwork challenges the label of a “criminal offender” and openly speaks about the struggles and obstacle in young women’s lives while celebrating their resiliency and joy. This exhibition is supported by the UofSC Diversity and Inclusion Pilot Grant and the Women’s Well-Being Initiative by the Women’s and Gender Studies Program. All artwork will be displayed anonymously to protect youth identities.
