Building Bridges Through Art Exhibition with The Harriet Hancock Center
February 20 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Art is the bridge that has the power to unite us all. Be part of this inspiring journey.
Immerse yourself in the world of art and ideas at Stormwater Studios with Building Bridges, a new, community-centered series that highlights diversity, fosters understanding, and promotes unity. This initiative connects artists whose work or stories align with the mission of featured non-profit organizations, inspiring meaningful connections and shared experiences.
Our first program highlights The Harriet Hancock Center, with an exhibition featuring works by LGBTQ artists, including Brittany Watkins, Chilly Waters, Dogon Krigga, George Wenzel, Gerard Erley, Jahnna Blyden, and Mahkia Greene. The exhibition will run from Wednesday, February 19, through Sunday, March 2, at Stormwater Studios Gallery. Visit us during gallery hours, Wednesday to Sunday, 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.”
Join us for the opening reception on Thursday, February 20, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and hear from Cristina Picozzi, Executive Director of The Harriet Hancock Center. From 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Cristina will share insights into the organization’s mission, the impact of their work, and ways to get involved in the community.
Let’s work together to build connections, provide support, and strengthen the fabric of our local community. Through the power of art and purpose, we can create a space where creativity and action unite to make a difference.
Help spread the word.
