Art Day
April 12 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
Stormwater Studios is pleased to announce an enchanting celebration of nature and art set to coincide with Art Day on April 12, 2025.
The event will offer a Pollinator Garden Tour at 10am, Butterfly Release overlooking the picturesque Kinsler Creek at 11:30 am, and a Cyanotype sun prints demonstration at 1:30pm. Visitors are invited to join us from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm for a day filled with creativity, beauty, and environmental appreciation. Admission to the Butterfly Release event is free, and attendees are encouraged to bring their families, friends, and cameras to capture the magical moments.
Nestled amidst the tranquil ambiance of Stormwater Studios, the Butterfly Release promises to be a captivating experience for all ages. Against the backdrop of vibrant artwork and the soothing sounds of the creek, attendees will have the opportunity to witness the graceful release of butterflies into the natural habitat. The release will take place at 11:30 am, symbolizing the harmony between art, nature, and community.
“The Butterfly Release embodies our commitment to fostering connections between art and the environment, offering visitors a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the beauty of both” says Michel McNinch, artist at Stormwater Studios.
Throughout the day, guests can explore the diverse artistic offerings of Stormwater Studios, including open studio visits, interactive demonstrations, and exhibitions by local and regional artists. From paintings to sculptures, the studios’ dynamic atmosphere promises to inspire creativity and ignite the imagination.
