An Ode to Queerness: Open Mic Presented by Queer Writers of Columbia at Stormwater Studios
March 14 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Queer Writers of Columbia is a collective of LGBTQI2S+ authors who share resources, host events, and create opportunities for one another—through write-ins, workshops, and more.
Join us at Stormwater Studios on Friday, March 14, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. for an open mic night as we raise our voices to honor all forms of queerness and the ways it inspires us to create. Hosted by the wonderful Shannon Ivey and Li Hubbard, this event is a space for expression, connection, and celebration.
We encourage you to write and share ekphrastic works inspired by the queer.
Building Bridges Through Art, presented in collaboration with The Harriet Hancock Center, is currently on view in the gallery! You can visit the exhibit for FREE Wednesday–Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Due to popular demand, Building Bridges Through Art, presented in collaboration with The Harriet Hancock Center, has been extended through Saturday, March 15—don’t miss it!
Anyone interested in sharing their work can sign up at the event. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Li Hubbard at [email protected].
