Unleash Your Creativity with About Face Group – Monday, December 2 & 16

Join the About Face Group on Monday, December 2 and 16, from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. for an exciting and immersive evening of drawing and sketching. Specializing in portraiture and the human figure, each session features two live models posing for two hours, giving you plenty of time to bring your artistic vision to life.

Whether you’re a seasoned artist or just starting out, this is the perfect opportunity to refine your skills in a welcoming and dynamic community. Bring your sketch pad, drawing supplies, and even your own easel if you’d like. A $10 fee covers participation, but first-timers get in free! Midlands Clay Arts Holiday Sale 

Join the Midlands Clay Arts Society for their 23rd Annual Holiday Sale at Stormwater Studios, featuring unique ceramic art from local artists. Discover a variety of sculptural, functional, and whimsical pieces, perfect for your home or as gifts. The event takes place on Thursday, December 5, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., with a special artists’ reception at 5 p.m., as well as Friday, December 6, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday, December 7, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

Founded in 1987, the Midlands Clay Arts Society fosters community and creativity among potters, promoting inclusiveness and artistic growth in the world of ceramics.

“Lives We Lost//Creeksploring,” by Rylee Heil and Jackson Tucker

The duo exhibition features the work of USC undergraduate student artists Jackson Tucker and Rylee Heil, showcasing pieces from their graduate application portfolios. Jackson’s photography and Rylee’s drawings delve into themes such as environmentalism, mental health, and economic issues. Join us for a reception and artist talk on Friday, December 13, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., where the artists will discuss their work over refreshments and light food. The exhibition runs from Wednesday, December 11 through Sunday, December 15, and is open to the public daily from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Trenholm Artist Guild at Stormwater Exhibition 

The Trenholm Artists Guild (TAG) exhibition will showcase a diverse array of artwork created by its talented members, working in various mediums. The exhibition will be on display from Wednesday, December 18 to Sunday, December 22, with gallery hours from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. An opening reception will be held on Thursday, December 19, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Stormwater Studios Closed for the Holidays
