Metamorphosis: A BFA Exhibition

This group exhibition encapsulates the metamorphosis of practice in the culminating works of BFA Studio Art students within the School of Visual Art and Design. No longer defined by the structures of their entry into the program, we witness these young artists emerge from the rigorous, transformative process of their undergraduate years.
Integrating diverse disciplines and experimental media, the show functions as a crystallizing moment—the point where years of trial, error, and growth blossom into a distinct creative identity. Each project serves as a snapshot of an artist in flux, shedding old skins to reveal the sophisticated visual languages they have cultivated.
Together, these works illuminate the narrative evolution and cross-disciplinary media that will fuel their flight as they transition from the protected space of the classroom studio into their professional practices beyond graduation.
Exhibition Dates: Wednesday, April 22 – Sunday, April 26
Opening Reception: 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 22
Gallery Hours: 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., Wednesday to Sunday
